POLICIESNew Patients – First visits are in person only. I can only work with people that are in British Columbia. Phone and video consults are available for return visits only Cancellation Policy – Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in my day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, I require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. This fee is waived if you have to cancel for acute illness or emergency. Email Policy – Please allow 1 – 2 business days for an email response. Email is a good way to request supplement refills, clarify something in your current treatment plan or book an appointment. If you have a new medical concern or require clinical attention, please book an appointment. Email exchanges that require for than 5 minutes will be billed as an email consult. NSF cheques – There is a $25 charge for bounced cheques. Fragrances – Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes or colognes on the day of your appointment. Phone consults – Phone consults may be scheduled for follow up appointments. Fees are the same as for in-office visits. Insurance/Extended Health – I am a licensed naturopathic doctor. If you have a benefits plan that covers naturopathic medicine, you can submit the receipt from your visit for reimbursement. Please check with your insurer to learn what your coverage is.
