Philosophy
As a naturopathic physician my goal is to bridge
the gap between conventional and alternative medical practices so
that my patients can understand all their options, take an active
role in their health care and benefit from the best of both worlds.
I consider naturopathic medicine to be the ultimate
in integrative medicine because we can combine multiple ways of
understanding and treating the cause of symptoms. Most often a person’s
health needs to be addressed on more than one level – biochemical,
structural, energetic and mental/emotional aspects of health all
play a role. Working with diet, herbs, acupuncture, homeopathic
remedies, physical medicine and lifestyle allows us to find ways
to improve anyone’s quality of life.
I embrace the principles that guide the naturopathic
profession by searching for the root cause of disease, individualizing
treatment, educating my patients and emphasizing prevention.
