The health of an individual is closely linked to the health

is a sample of organizations that I believe promote positive action
and change in our world.
Environmental
Working Group – Contains research and reports about environmental
contaminants including a section on assessing commonly used cosmetic
and personal care products.
Cooperative
Auto Network – a non-profit car sharing cooperative that
acts as an environmentally sound, cost-effective way of meeting
many people’s transportation needs.
The
David Suzuki Foundation studies and promotes sustainability
in our society with a focus on climate change, sustainable fishing,
clean energy sources and the Nature Challenge – the 10 most
effective actions an individual can take to protect nature.
Canada
